We started the day going to the grocery store for some new food
items. Then we decide to go to Slone Square and walk around. There are
many different stores and restaurants in this area. We stopped at the
department store I was telling you about, John Lewis. I wanted Josh to
see the greatness! We got some items for the house like a shower
storage, frying pan, and a laundry basket. We discovered that the store
has 6 floors. We went to the restaurant on the 6th floor. It was ok
food, and we sat by the window so the view was great. We left and walked
around the area. We decided to take the bus to get home...oops we got
on the bus going in the opposite direction. So we get off and realize
there are some more stores we want to go into. We get on the right bus
and head home. What a busy weekend! Josh decided to take a nap and I
took the dogs to the dog park. It's really not far from our house and I
have been taking them everyday. For dinner we ordered Dominoes Pizza.
We
got a peperoni pizza that cost 19.99 pounds, that converts to about
$34.00, yikes! It tasted different but we still enjoyed it. They put 4
peperoni slices on each slice of pizza, and not all over like in the
States but mostly where the crust meets the cheese...interesting but
made me think of home. I should have taken a picture according to Meghan
Derrick, but I will be sure to next time!
