I received some very sad news about my Shelton family. It's hard being so far away but my thoughts and prayers are with my colleague and good friend through this difficult time.
This week in London was very nice, and I am counting the days until Josh returns. I am feeling that the flat is finally getting in order. We just need a few more items, like a desk to be fully organized. I finally ordered a rug for the living room, and I think this will definitely make it more "home-like". During the week I went grocery shopping, took shirts to the dry cleaners and got a pedicure! The pedicure was great and much needed! It only cost 25 pounds, that's about $40 BUT they don't tip here so I will consider it to be about the same at Texas.

The rug arrived late in the week and I think it looks nice. The pups sure do love it. I will take some flat pics next week. Wednesday was the day I officially decided that I am enjoying my time here. It took a little over a month, so that's not too bad. I hated Dallas for a lot longer I think. On Thursday, I met with Meg and we went to lunch in Chelsea at a restaurant called Tom's Kitchen. I really like getting out and making it a game to get from point A to point B. I have been pretty successful so far. Josh got back on Saturday morning and we got lunch at Pizza Express. It's a chain here and he has been wanting to try it! Saturday consisted of lunch, unpacking, laundry and dinner with the Stones. We went to Dolphin Square and I had a very yummy steak sandwich. Sunday we went to Battersea Park with the pups! They had the best time! The get to be off their leads (leashes) and were running wild...so much that I didn't even get a picture of them but we will go back. On the way home all the roads were closed for a big bike race. We got to see the front runners and all the fun commotion that went with it.
