It's November, November 3-9, 2014

Wow! I can't believe it's already November, it's going to be a BUSY month.
On Monday I had a Dr. appointment...all is looking great! Can't wait to meet baby Harvey. On Tuesday, the wives met at a highly reviewed pizza place called, Pizza Pilgrims in Soho. It was pretty yummy. I had the pizza with aubergine (eggplant). After lunch, Rachael, Mary and I walked around town and just hung out.

This is a big travel week for Josh. He was in Manchester for the day and then left for Rotterdam until Thursday. I just hung at home. We did get the nursery chair delivered!

The pups are due for some of their monthly heart-worm pills so we ventured to the London vet. It's funny, our vet in Dallas we loved, but we would load up the car drive for 30 minutes there and then 30 minutes back. Here we just walked down the street. All was well and we got their pills for the next 6 months.

After the vet Josh wanted his favorite London chain, Nando's. We then headed to Wembley Stadium for the Dallas Cowboy's fan rally. It was cold and rainy so not super crowded, which was nice. Josh won a mug for competing in their version of "whack a mole". He was very excited! I cheered on the DCC as they performed in the cold gross weather.

That night we attended Guy Fawkes Night/Bonfire Night. November 5th (Wednesday this year) was the special day, but since it was during the week they had lots of events during the weekend. To me it's an odd "holiday". They wear creepy masks (like V for Vendetta), and celebrate the capture and death of Guy Fawkes. He was guarding the gun powder when he was found so this is where the fireworks and bonfire come into play. We heard fireworks going off all week.

We purchased tickets to the big firework show in Battersea Park. This park is super close to our house but the weather turned bad. It was freezing and pouring rain, but they said the event was still on! It was a muddy mess and filled with people, but we enjoyed seeing how the Brits do fireworks. The bonfire seemed a little dangerous...the put fireworks in it so when it got to certain levels the fireworks heated up and shot off. People were standing very close to it . We watched from afar.
